Contacting the School Office
Please contact the school office as soon as possible in the following instances, on 01274 564681
Absence due to illness
If your child is ill and won’t be attending school, please contact the school office on the first day of absence and give the reason your child will not be attending that day.
If your child is suffering with sickness or diarrhoea it is essential that they kept away from school for a further 48 hours once these symptoms have stopped.
Appointments in school time
Children attending medical appointments during the school day will be signed out and in again at the main school office. This is an essential part of Health & Safety, particularly if the building needs to be evacuated. Please ensure this is done by a member of the office team as you leave and then again as you return your child to school.
Leave of Absence
If you are planning to take your child out of school during term time, it is now a requirement that you complete a Leave of Absence form and send this to the office. This form is then given to Mrs Huby to authorise. Please be aware that no absence during term time will be authorised, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Download and complete the form below and either email to firstname.lastname@example.org or hand it directly in to the office when you are at school.
If your child arrives at school after 9am this will be marked on the school register as a late mark. All children who arrive after the external doors near classrooms have closed must enter school via the main entrance. If this is before 9am, no late mark will be given. The school day starts at 8.40am (however please refer to specific start times by class.)
